How do I configure a sheet fed OneTouch 3.0 scanner for automatic scanning?
  1. Go to "Start" then "Run".
  2. Type "control sticpl.cpl" and click "OK".
  3. Right click on your scanner and click "Properties". On Windows 98, me or 2000, double click your Strobe XP scanner to open the Properties box. If your scanner is not listed, click VIS1051 - Step 1 Checking the Connections to resolve the problem.
  4. Click on the "Events" tab.
  5. Under "Select an Event" select "Paper In".
  6. Under "Action" check "Start this program" and select "OneTouch AutoScan" from the drop down list.
  7. Press the "OK" button.

  8. Go to "Start", then "Programs" (In Windows XP: "All Programs") then "ScanSoft PaperPort" then "OneTouch Configure".
  9. Verify that the settings match the screenshot. If you are scanning directly to another program, select that as the destination instead of PaperPort.

  10. Your scanner is now configured for Autoscanning to PaperPort.
If you want your scanner to Autoscan to PDF, follow the directions in VIS1015 - PDF AutoScan Tool - OneTouch 3 with PaperPort 9.
