Symptom:
 
How do I remove a black page in QuickScan version 3.0 or 3.5?
 
Solution:
 
  1. In the drop down list,choose "Scan".
  2. Click on "New Batch".
  3. Click on the "Add" button.
  4. Type "Blank page removal" in "Profile Name:"
  5. Click on the "IP" Tab in version 3.0, or "Image Processing" tab in version 3.5.
  6. Click on the "Image Processing during scan" check box to turn it on.
  7. Click on "Blank Page Removal" from the "Available Filters" list.
  8. Click on the "Add" button.
  9. Click on the "Configure" button.
  10. Select Sensitivity level.
  11. Click on the "OK" button of the "Blank Page Removal 1 - Properties" dialog.
  12. Click on the "OK" button of the "Profile Editor" dialog.
  13. Click on the "Scan" button to start scanning.
