How do I create multi-page PDF files with Adobe Acrobat 6 and OneTouch?
Please note that you must have full version of Adobe Acrobat 6 installed to complete this process.
  1. Open the OneTouch Configure Properties:
Left-click on the OneTouch icon on the lower right side of the Windows Desktop
  2. Right-click on the "Scan" button to open the OneTouch Properties
  3. Choose "Acrobat 6" in the Destination list then click on "OK"
  4. Place the page in the scanner
  5. Left-click on the "Scan" button or press the "Scan" button on the scanner
  6. The scanned image will appear in an Adobe Acrobat window; leave this window open
  7. Continue scanning until you have finished scanning all pages in your document; leave all instances of Adobe open
  8. Open Adobe Acrobat from your programs list
  9. Go to "File" then select "Create PDF - From Multiple Files"
  10. Click on the box next to "Include all Open PDF Documents" then click on "OK"
  11. You will now have one PDF document with multiple pages
  12. Go to "File" and choose "Save As" and save this file to your desired location
When you close Adobe Acrobat, it will ask if you want to save the changes. Select "NO" as these files are the ones you compiled during scanning but don't want to save and keep as individual files.
Note: If you have a OneTouch 4.0 scanner driver installed you do not need to use Adobe Acrobat to create PDF documents.

The OneTouch 4.0 software contains a PDF writer, you simply need Adobe Acrobat Reader installed to be able to view the files. Not all scanners have a OneTouch 4.0 driver available, if you are unsure of which driver version you have click here then select "run" to run a version check utility. This utility will tell you which driver version you have installed.
