How do I completely Remove QuickScan?
 
Solution:
 
  1. Remove QuickScan from Add/Remove Programs.
    Go to "Start" then "Settings" then "Control Panel" then "Add/Remove Programs".







  2. Remove C:\Program Files\Pixel Translations



  3. Remove C:\Winnt\PixTran (for Windows XP: C:\Windows\PixTran)
  4. Empty your Recycle Bin



  5. Restart your computer



  6. After PC restarts, insert the Scanner Installation disk into your computer and reinstall only QuickScan
  7. Once QuickScan is installed go to "Start" then "Run" and type "D:\QSP\Quickscan\Drivers"



  8. Click "OK"
  9. Once the folder opens, open the "ADDSCAN.EXE" file
  10. hoose your Scanner.



  11. Click "OK"
  12. It will give you a message saying QuickScan has been installed successfully.





    You might get a message that the ASPI layer has been installed and you need to restart your PC. Go ahead and do so at this point

  13. Open QuickScan
  14. Click on "Scan"



  15. Then click on "Select Scanner"
  16. After Selecting Scanner, select the your scanner.
  17. Click "OK"
  18. Your QuickScan is now installed successfully and you will be able to scan.
